On Sunday we went to an English church on Antigua. It was nice to go to a church. After our team spent time walking around Antigua. And God gave us the honor to pray for certain people. It was just awesome to see how people were willing to hear about God and they wanted us to pray for them. 

On Monday we went back to the village Santa Marta. That’s Reindom ministry to work with the kids of the village on Mondays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. I had the honor to go visit certain homes in the village. It is so sad to see the poverty that these people live in. 

Maria Cecilia

A mother of three children and expecting a baby told us that her husband makes 30 quetlazes a day (thats not even $5). She kept telling us that one day they didn’t pay her husband. So all they had to eat that day was tortillas with salt. Her story was super impacting and God made see what a blessing Reindom was to the village. Because they feed and care for the kids. It made me realize that I should be more than grateful. And the beautiful thing is that Maria Cecilia is always involved in preparing the meals for kids.

Also Maria Cecilia mother (Lucia) is laying in bed without being able to move for 7 months. And her brother had an accident and he struggles. God gave the opportunity to pray for them and their family with my teammate Kirsten. It was sad to see Lucia in that condition. Whenever we have the chance at the village we going to continue seeing and praying for Lucia.

Other homes

We went to another home. Every home we went we deliver a bag of food and goodies. Also the mothers would be in tears telling us their stories. The team pray for the mothers and families. A ten year old girl from the last visit said she wants to help people that don’t have homes, food, nor clothes. It was touching because she is coming from a really poor village. 

After the visits we play games with the kids. Then had the honor to feed them. The kids were so excited for the food. Also Reindom were giving shoes and tshirts to certain kids that needed them. 

Reindom is such a blessing. I asked to please pray for this ministry so they can keep helping and serving this village. That God can blessed them so they can continue being a blessing to Santa Marta.

ATL 

On Tuesday our free day Ask The Lord (ATL) our team met some guys in Parramos playing soccer who led us to a Christian church organization called Nueva Vida y Paz (New life & peace) which helps addicts & alcoholics. They actually live in that place and the organization helps them and teaches them about Jesus.

Kingdoms Table

So Wednesday Reindom has a ministry call Kingdoms Table. It is a program that feeds alcoholics & homeless. So when I was preparing I met a guy who I pray for meanwhile another younger guy also wanted prayer. But he had evil spirits. Which is a miracle/testimony that God allowed me to pray for that guy three times. Once by myself and the other times with my team. In the past I would had been afraid to face an evil spirit/demon due to my testimony of always being attack. But God gave me authority & felt the strength of the Holy Spirit.

At the Kingdom Table, Banks and I team up and pray for alcoholic young guys. Most of them had fallen away from Jesus and want to be set free and they ask us for prayers and we pray over them. Others didn’t believe in God but still wanted prayer. Banks & I pray over many alcoholics who want to change their life and be set free but they don’t know how too. It was sad hearing their stories. 22 year Elias has two young daughters but hasn’t been allowed to see them. While he is telling his story he is crying and its so impacting. Talking to them, God is showing me to love them no matter their circumstance or situation because many of them told us thank you for acknowledging them because many people just ignored and judge them.

Matthew 20:28 “ just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.”

Kingdom Table/Mesa del Reino

El Domingo fuimos a una iglesia Ingles en Antigua. Después, nuestro equipo pasó un tiempo caminando por Antigua. Y Dios nos dio el honor de orar por ciertas personas. Fue asombroso ver cómo la gente estaba dispuesta a escuchar acerca de Dios y querían que oráramos por ellos.

El lunes volvimos al pueblo Santa Marta. Ese es el ministerio de Reindom trabajar con los niños del pueblo los Lunes, Jueves y Sábados. Tuve el honor de ir a visitar ciertas casas del pueblo. Es muy triste ver la pobreza en la que vive la gente.

Una madre de tres hijos y embarazada nos dijo que su esposo gana 30 quetlazes al día (eso no es ni $5). Nos decía que un día no le pagaron a su marido. Así que todo lo que tenían para comer ese día era tortillas con sal. Su historia fue súper impactante y Dios me hizo ver qué bendición era Reindom para el pueblo. Porque alimentan y sirven a los niños. Me hizo darme cuenta de que debería estar más que agradecido. Y lo lindo es que María Cecilia siempre está involucrada en la preparación de las comidas para los niños.

También la madre de María Cecilia (Lucía) está acostada en cama sin poder moverse desde hace 7 meses. Y su hermano tuvo un accidente. Dios me dio la oportunidad de orar por ellos y su familia con mi compañera Kirsten. Fue triste ver a Lucía en esa condición. Siempre que tengamos la oportunidad en el pueblo vamos a seguir visitando y orando por Lucía.

Otras casas

Fuimos a otra casa. En cada casa a la que fuimos entregamos una bolsa de comida. También las madres lloraban mientras contaban sus historias. El equipo oraba por las madres y las familias. Una niña de diez años de la última visita dijo que quiere ayudar a las personas que no tienen hogar, comida ni ropa. Fue conmovedor porque ella viene de un pueblo muy pobre.

Después de las visitas jugamos con los niños. Luego tuvimos el honor de darles de comer. Los niños estaban muy emocionados por la comida. También Reindom estaba dando zapatos y camisetas a ciertos niños que los necesitaban.

Reindom es una bendición. Pido por favor oracion por este ministerio para que puedan seguir ayudando y sirviendo a este pueblo.  Que Dios los bendiga para que sigan siendo de bendición para Santa Marta.

ATL

El martes, nuestro día libre Pregúntale al Señor (ATL), nuestro equipo conoció a algunos muchachos en Parramos jugando fútbol que nos llevaron a una organización de una iglesia evangelica llamada Nueva Vida y Paz que ayuda a los adictos y alcohólicos. De hecho viven en ese lugar y la organización les ayuda y les enseña acerca de Jesús.

Mesa del Reino

Lo Miercoles Reindom tiene un ministerio llamado Mesa del Reino. Es un programa que alimenta a alcohólicos y personas sin hogar. Entonces, cuando me estaba preparando, conocí a un señor que me pidio oracion, mientras oraba un señor más joven también quería oración. Pero tenía espíritus malignos. Lo cual es un milagro/testimonio de que Dios me permitió orar por ese hombre tres veces. Una vez solo y otras veces con mi equipo. En el pasado hubiera tenido miedo de enfrentarme a un espíritu maligno/demonio debido a mi testimonio de ser siempre attacado. Pero Dios me dio autoridad y sentí la fortaleza del Espíritu Santo.

En la Mesa del Reino, Banks y yo nos unimos y oramos por los jóvenes alcohólicos. La mayoría de ellos se han alejado de Jesús y quieren ser liberados y nos piden oraciones y oramos por ellos. Otros no creían en Dios pero aún querían oración. Banks y yo oramos por muchos alcohólicos que quieren cambiar su vida y ser liberados, pero tampoco saben cómo hacerlo. Fue triste escuchar sus historias. Elias, de 22 años, tiene dos hijas pequeñas pero no se le ha permitido verlas. Mientras cuenta su historia, llora y es muy impactante. Hablando con ellos, Dios me está mostrando que los tengo qu amar sin importar su circunstancia o situación. Muchos de ellos nos dijeron gracias por reconocerlos porque muchas personas simplemente los ignoran y los juzgan.

Mateo 20:28 “como el Hijo del Hombre no vino para ser servido, sino para servir, y para dar su vida en rescate por muchos.”
