Leadership
It has been awhile since I written a blog. The last few weeks and months have been super busy. When I got home from the World Race I was going to churches to testify the great things God did during the missionary trip. At the end of my missionary trip the Lord called me to Squad Lead for a gap year in the World Race, part of me did not want to. I wanted to serve in one specific country and settle down. But God had different plans. He called me into leadership. I was trying to avoid decision making, authority, and leadership.
I was home for 19 days and then I flew into leadership training were I learned so many things and grew spiritually. God started working in my heart in a deep way and preparing me for the next couple of weeks. Leadership training was so amazing, learning things I never could had learn on my own.
X squad
I am part of X squad. X squad has 42 youths (18-20 years old), 6 squad leaders, 2 mentors, and 4 coaches. There are six teams on X squad and each squad leader is the leader of a team. Squad leaders are going to be in the field and with their team for the next 9 months. Our mentors and coaches are going to meet with us during debrief and we also have leadership calls. My guys team is called NSS (No shot shawty, Never stop serving, never stop singing, never stop sweating, New Spiritual Soldiers, etc.).
I have 8 guys on my team:

- Abraham (Texas)
- Avant (Las Vegas)
- Braden (Colorado)
I love my team. They are young but they are on fire for the Lord. They just want to grow deeper and serve him. When I first saw all the different squads and young people who are going for 3, 9, 11 months in the field, my heart was overflowing with joy. There had been some hard moments but the Lord is teaching all of us together.
Training Camp:
Training camp was intense and transform many hearts. The Holy Spirit descended in a powerful way and lit up a fire in their hearts. God also provided deliverance and healing on many. Also, spiritual warfare was super heavy but God gave us victory. God was teaching X squad how to fight and to rely on Him. X squad was also learning to hear God’s voice. Also, the teachings were deep and touching. And of course the training was preparing them for the field.
Clarkston:
We were able to help a landscape area an hour away from the base for 3 days. We went into agriculture and doing labor work. Something I am not used too but the Lord was teaching to work with my hands for His glory. The ministry we served helps refugees. The specific place we help is a garden with divided territories so refugees can go and plant things and spent their time outside. We also were able to minister to some people from Nepal.
Kentucky:
All the guys from X and W squad went to volunteer a week for Samaritan’s Purse in Kentucky. In my team I had 3 guys from W and 2 from X. We did construction work another area God was teaching me. We build houses for people that were affected by tornadoes who were taking a 6 week discipleship course. That was the ministry we helped (we prayed and wrote bible verses on the wood) but also talked and prayed for some neighbors and a firefighter inspector. It was a sweet time to prepare us for the field.
ATL in Georgia:
We had one day of ATL (Ask The Lord). This means Asking The Lord what He wants us to do for that day. It is a time to evangelize and talk to people or whatever God wants. So the guys started asking the Lord. When we talked about what to do that day everybody had different responses that God had spoken to them. Two had seen an underway bridge with tagging, one had a clock tower, one had a park, one had a specific street in South Carolina, and another had a number. I didn’t know what to do, usually in my experience my past teams have gotten similar responses. I didn’t want them to think they didn’t heard from the Lord. So I prayed and decided to head to South Carolina. While driving the team, in my mind I was praying and battling with God: like why did they all got a different response, they might think I don’t trust that you spoke to them. While driving I saw and underway bridge but it was nothing. Then one of the guys said there is a clock tower a few streets from here. So I went into the town and park in front of the clock tower. The town was empty and silent. Then we split into three teams of three. The two guys that saw the underway went together with another guy and 15 minutes later found an under bridge with the tagging they saw in their vision and evangelized some Muslims who were under the bridge. The other team evangelized some youngsters thugs. My team was with the guy that heard the park. And we found a small park were I talk to a guy in Spanish and told me if I kept walking a certain way there were more people. So we headed that way and then one guy was like this number of house is so close to the one that one of the guys had. And it was a welcoming house who had many welcome and blessing decorations. So we knock on the door and an older woman opened the door. She was a new believer in Christ. We encourage and pray for her and she told us that she needed that and was encourage.
God showed me that day that He can make anything possible. None of them heard wrong, they heard correctly and God made it all happened in a few hours. I should had known that our God can do anything but in my humanity I was worried about the team but God had everything place in the right timing to make everything happen.
Cambodia:
We are finally in Cambodia serving.
God is already moving in powerful ways.

Liderazgo
Ha sido un tiempo que no eh escrito. Las últimas semanas y meses eh estado muy ocupado. Cuando regresé a casa de World Race iba a las iglesias para testificar de las grandes cosas que Dios hizo durante el viaje misionero. Al final de mi viaje misionero, Dios me llamó para liderar un escuadrón del World Race, una parte de mí no quería. Quería servir en un país específico y establecerme. Pero Dios tenía planes diferentes. Me llamó al liderazgo. Estaba tratando de evitar toma de decisiones, la autoridad y el liderazgo.
Estuve en casa durante 19 días y luego volé al campamento de liderazgo donde aprendí muchas cosas y crecí espiritualmente. Dios comenzó a trabajar en mi corazón de manera profunda y a prepararme para las próximas semanas. Las enseñanzas de liderazgo fue increíble, aprendí cosas que nunca podría haber aprendido por mi cuenta.
Escuadrón X
Soy parte del escuadrón X. El equipo X tiene 42 jóvenes (18-20 años), 6 líderes de equipo, 2 mentores y 4 entrenadores. Hay seis equipos en el escuadrón X y cada líder de escuadrón es el líder de un equipo. Los líderes de escuadrón estarán en el campo y con su equipo durante los próximos 9 meses. Nuestros mentores y entrenadores se reunirán con nosotros durante sesiónes y también tendremos llamadas de liderazgo. El equipo de mis muchachos se llama NSS (No tiro shawty, Nunca dejes de servir, nunca dejes de cantar, nunca dejes de sudar, Nuevos soldados espirituales, etc.).
Tengo 8 muchachos en mi equipo:

Amo a mi equipo. Son jóvenes pero están ardiendo por servir a Dios. Sólo quieren profundizar y servirle. Cuando vi por primera vez a todos los diferentes equipos y jóvenes que estarán en el campo durante 3, 9, 11 meses, mi corazón rebosaba de alegría. Hay momentos que an sido dificil pero Dios nos esta enseñando a todos.
Campo de entrenamiento:
El campo de entrenamiento fue intenso y transformó muchos corazones. El Espíritu Santo descendió de manera poderosa y encendió un fuego en sus corazones. Dios también permitió liberaciones y sanidades a muchos. Además la guerra espiritual fue súper fuerte pero Dios nos dio la victoria. Dios estaba enseñando al escuadrón X cómo luchar y confiar en Él. El escuadrón X también estaba aprendiendo a escuchar la voz de Dios. Además, las enseñanzas fueron profundas y conmovedoras. Y, por supuesto, el entrenamiento los estaba preparando para el campo misionero.
Clarkston:
Pudimos ayudar a una zona laboral a una hora de la base durante 3 días. Nos dedicamos a la agricultura y trabajamos como jardineros. Algo que no estoy acostumbrado pero Dios me estaba enseñando a trabajar con mis manos para Su gloria. Este ministerio al que servimos ayuda a los refugiados. El lugar específico al que ayudamos es un jardín con territorios divididos para que los refugiados puedan ir a plantar cosas y pasar su tiempo al aire libre. También pudimos ministrar a algunas personas de Nepal.
Kentucky:
Todos los varones del equipo X y W fueron como voluntarios durante una semana en Samaritan’s Purse en Kentucky. En mi equipo tenía 3 chicos de W y 2 de X. Hicimos trabajos de construcción otra área que Dios me estaba enseñando. Construimos casas para gente afectada por tornados que estan en una clase de la biblia por 6 semanas. Ese era el ministerio (oramos y escribimos versículos de la biblia en la madera) pero también hablamos y oramos por algunos vecinos y un inspector de bomberos. Fue un momento dulce para prepararnos para el campo.
Georgia:
Tuvimos un día de ATL (Pregúntale al Señor). Esto significa preguntarle a Dios qué quiere que hagamos ese día. Es un tiempo para evangelizar y hablar con la gente o lo que Dios quiera. Entonces los muchachos comenzaron a preguntarle a Dios. Cuando hablamos sobre qué hacer ese día, todos tuvieron respuestas diferentes de que Dios les había hablado. Dos tenían un puente, uno tenía una torre de reloj, uno tenía un parque, uno tenía una calle específica en Carolina del Sur y otro tenía un número. No sabía qué hacer; por lo general, según mi experiencia, mis equipos anteriores Dios les da respuestas similares. No quería que pensaran que no habían oído del Señor. Entonces oré y decidí dirigirme a Carolina del Sur. Mientras conducía al equipo, en mi mente, estaba orando y batallando con Dios: por qué todos obtuvieron una respuesta diferente, podrán pensar que no confío en que les hayas hablado. Mientras conducía vi un puente pero no era nada. Entonces uno de los muchachos dijo que hay una torre del reloj a unas calles de aquí. Así que fui al pueblo y paramos frente a la torre del reloj. La ciudad estaba vacía y en silencio. Luego nos dividimos en tres equipos de tres. Los dos chicos que vieron el puente fueron juntos con otro chico y 15 minutos después encontraron un puente debajo con el etiquetado que vieron en su visión y evangelizaron a algunos musulmanes que estaban debajo del puente. El otro equipo evangelizó a unos jóvenes. Mi equipo estaba con el joven que escuchó el parque. Y encontramos un pequeño parque donde hablé con un joven en español y me dijo que si seguía caminando había más gente. Así que nos dirigimos hacia allí y luego un joven dijo este número de casa es muy cercano al que tenía uno de los muchachos. Y era una casa acogedora que tenía muchas decoraciones de bienvenida y bendición. Entonces tocamos la puerta y una mujer mayor abrió la puerta. Ella era una nueva creyente en Cristo. La animamos y oramos por ella y ella nos dijo que necesitaba eso y se animó.
Dios me mostró ese día que Él puede hacer cualquier cosa posible. Ninguno de ellos escuchó mal, escucharon correctamente y Dios hizo que todo sucediera en unas pocas horas. Debería haber sabido que nuestro Dios puede hacer cualquier cosa, pero en mi humanidad estaba preocupada por el equipo, pero Dios tenía todo en el momento adecuado para que todo sucediera.
Cambodia:
Finalmente estamos sirviendo en Camboya.
Dios ya se está moviendo de manera poderosa.
