sorry that the organization has change our blog system and it has taken me awhile to post something until today. Disculpen la organización a cambiado el systema de blogging so no e publicado nada en un momento hasta hoy.

Well time in Romania has been wonderful. The Lord has taught me so many different things. He has taught me to rejoice being rejected for the sake of the gospel. He has taught me about spiritual warfare in different ways I couldn’t imagine. He taught me how to talk/evangelize people in different situations.

Draganesti

In our time in Romania, all the men in my squad went to Draganesti. A village in the southern of Romania, outside of Craiova. We stay in that small friendly village for 5 days. Now we were sent to serve a church. Now I love this village though it was muddy it was a slow paste, relaxing, and people were friendlier and hospitable.

Now I was able to evangelize, help small planting churches, and do house visits. We all did different things. My teamate Michael and I had a wonderful experience while evangelizing. We were able to pray for people while handing them a calendar of bible verses with the church address in the back. Later on the same day we walk into a small tools shop with four men inside and I thought “tough crowd” but our translator told us to share our testimony with them. We shared our testimony and prayed for them and they were thankful.

Also went for house visits with Banks and Elijah. While we help them with their need, we were able to talk to them and end up praying for the families. They were so thankful they gave us a bag of food.

The last day before we left, all the guys in my team with the pastor and his two minister leaders who translated went to the farmer market early in the morning. We evangelize and pass out calendars. It was a nice day and then at the end we did a youth event for the Draganesti youths. It was nice.

Craoiva

Back in Craiova, we continue to evangelize and doing youth events. We evangelize in malls passing out packets about Jesus with bags of spices. Though the security from the mall kick us out we continue outside the mall. The spices caught the attention of many people. I got to talk with a young guy who was trying to sell me drugs, but I ended up talking to him about Jesus and praying for him and he even ask me to pray for his parents.

Also maybe we will never see the fruit of our evangelizing here but God knows who are the hearts that are being touch. We don’t know if one of them will open a packet and it will touch them or a word we spoke to them will make them truly think about the Lord. I heard several testimonies from young people in the church that a group of Americans came and gave them a flyer or invited them into a youth night and thats how they came to the Lord.

In our last youth event several youths said it made an impact on them. The first girl that said no more clubs, she continues to come to the youth events and hanging out with our group. Mostly the girls hang out with her, but I gotten a chance to talk and pour life into her. Another young guy said that our youth events made a difference for him. Also, evangelizing we met a young girl that was so friendly and always has a smile and she came to our events several times and I see the impact we are making in her. Also a young girl accepted Jesus in one of the events. We had good conversations with youths that didn’t believe in God.

Romania is all about patience and relationships and sharing your story and testimony and just interceding and praying God can touch their hearts.

We also had a chance to go into the Roma community and serve them. Which is so different than Romanians. But its been a nice experience.

Ask The Lord (ATL)

We left Craiova and hope church for our last days in Romania. We ATL with our smaller groups. The five groups went to different cities. My team was called to intercession prayer.

Alba Iulia

First city of ATL. My team whale team six rode a 7 hour train to Alba Iulia. We stayed for three days in a house and I felt it was more of a resting time for our team. After being spiritually attack heavily in Craoiva, we felt this time was more for resting. I always tried talking to people and mention Jesus to them. We also had a nice time playing volleyball with some youths from a church. We also went around interceding and praying for the city.

Sibiu

Second city of ATL. We stayed here for 4 days. This is the city the Lord allow us to minister. We minister and prayed for paralyzed and lame people. One of the persons we prayed for was an older man in a wheelchair who was paralyzed. We ended knowing his story and praying for him several times and feeding him. He had a smile on his face and was so thankful. When we talk about Jesus to him, he replied Jesus is my friend. With my team we did a Joshua walk praying and interceding for this city.

Brasov

Third city of ATL. I had my time with the Lord and felt refresh and like a weight was taken off me. I felt God reveal many roots of why I like being lonely which is interesting because in Guatemala the Lord gave me the word solitude for Romania (little did I know it was a warning of what I was going to struggle in Craoiva) but here in Brasov, the Lord brought so much light into that situation. In Brasov my team saw several fulfillments of what the Lord had revealed to us in Guatemala. We had good conversations with people that left them thinking about their relationship with God. We got to pray for several people. Also every where we walk we would intercede and pray for the city.

Bucharest

Going to the capital of Romania, I met a women from Greece and had a conversation after handing her a bible verse with a picture that made her smile. In this city our squad got together to prepare for our next country and we switched small teams (I will reveal my team in the next blog). So my time with Whale Team Six has come to an end. Also all the other teams had powerful testimonies and stories in how God move in their ATL time.

Goodbye Romania

So our time has come to an end here in Romania. Glory to God for everything that He did. So Albania is our next country.

Bueno, el tiempo en Rumania ha sido maravilloso. Dios me ha enseñado muchas cosas diferentes. Me ha enseñado a alegrarme en el rechazo por el bien del evangelio. Me ha enseñado sobre la guerra espiritual de diferentes maneras que no podía imaginar. Me enseñó a hablar/evangelizar a personas en diferentes situaciones.

Draganesti

En nuestro tiempo en Rumania, todos los hombres de mi escuadrón fueron a Draganesti. Un pueblo en el sur de Rumania, afuera de Craiova. Nos quedamos en ese pequeño pueblo amigable durante 5 días. Ahora nos enviaron a servir a una iglesia. Ahora me encanta este pueblo, aunque estaba lodoso, era un ambiente lento, relajante, y la gente era más amigable y hospitalidad.

Ahora pude evangelizar, ayudar a pequeñas iglesias de plantación y hacer visitas a casas. Todos hicimos cosas diferentes. Mi compañero de equipo Michael y yo tuvimos una experiencia maravillosa mientras evangelizamos. Pudimos orar por las personas mientras les entregamos un calendario de versículos de la Biblia con la dirección de la iglesia. Más tarde, el mismo día, entramos en una pequeña tienda de herramientas con cuatro hombres adentro y pensé “multitud dura”, pero nuestro traductor nos dijo que compartiéramos nuestro testimonio con ellos. Compartimos nuestro testimonio y oramos por ellos y estaban agradecidos.

También fui a visitas a casas con Banks y Elias. Los ayudamos con su necesidad, y pudimos hablar con ellos y terminar orando por las familias. Estaban tan agradecidos que nos dieron una bolsa de comida.

El último día antes de irnos, todos los muchachos de mi equipo con el pastor y sus dos líderes que tradujeron fuimos al mercado temprano en la mañana. Evangelizamos y repartimos calendarios. Fue un buen día y al final hicimos un evento juvenil para los jóvenes de Draganesti. Fue agradable.

Craoiva

En Craiova, continuamos evangelizando y haciendo eventos juveniles. Evangelizamos en centros comerciales repartiendo paquetes sobre Jesús con bolsas de especias. Aunque la seguridad del centro comercial nos echó, continuamos fuera del centro comercial. Las especias y condimentos llamaron la atención de muchas personas. Pude hablar con un chico joven que intentaba venderme drogas, pero terminé hablando con él sobre Jesús y orando por él e incluso me pidió que orara por sus padres.

Tal vez nunca veremos el fruto de nuestra evangelización aquí, pero Dios sabe quiénes son los corazones que fueron tocados. No sabemos si uno de ellos abrirá un paquete y serán conmovidos o una palabra que les hablamos hará que realmente piensen en Dios. Escuché varios testimonios de jóvenes en la iglesia que un grupo de estadounidenses vino y les dio un volante o los invitó a una noche de jóvenes y así conocieron a Jesus.

En nuestro último evento juvenil, varios jóvenes dijeron que fueron impactados. La primera chica que dijo no más clubes, ella continúa viniendo a los eventos juveniles y saliendo con nuestro grupo. La mayoría de las chicas salen con ella, pero tuve la oportunidad de hablarle y animarla. Otro joven dijo que nuestros eventos juveniles marcaron su vida. Además, evangelizando, conocimos a una joven muy amable y siempre tenia una sonrisa y ella vino a nuestros eventos varias veces y veo el impacto que hicimos en ella. También una joven aceptó a Jesús en uno de los eventos. Tambien tuvimos varias buenas conversaciones con jóvenes que no creian en Dios.

Rumania es una pais de paciencia y amistades y compartir tu historia y testimonio y simplemente interceder y orar para que Dios pueda tocar sus corazones.

También tuvimos la oportunidad de entrar en la comunidad romaní y servirles. Que es tan diferente a los rumanos. Pero ha sido una bonita experiencia.

Pregúntale al Señor (ATL)

Dejamos Craiova y Hope Church para nuestros últimos días en Rumania. Hicimos ATL con nuestros grupos más pequeños. Los cinco grupos fueron a diferentes ciudades. Mi equipo fue llamado a la oración de intercesión.

Alba Iulia

Primera ciudad de ATL. El equipo de ballenas equipo seis viajó en un tren de 7 horas a Alba Iulia. Estuvimos tres días en una casa y sentí que era más un momento de descanso para nuestro equipo. Después de ser atacados espiritualmente fuertemente en Craoiva, sentimos que esta vez era más para descansar. Siempre intenté hablar con la gente y mencionarles a Jesús. También nos lo pasamos muy bien jugando voleibol con algunos jóvenes de una iglesia. También dimos una vuelta intercediendo y orando por la ciudad.

Sibiu

Segunda Ciudad de ATL. Nos quedamos aquí por 4 días. Esta es la ciudad que el Dios nos permitio ministrar. Ministramos y oramos por personas paralizadas y cojas. Una de las personas por las que oramos era un hombre mayor en silla de ruedas que estaba paralizado. Terminamos conociendo su historia y orando por él varias veces y alimentándolo. Tenía una sonrisa en su rostro y estaba muy agradecido. Cuando le hablamos de Jesús, respondió que Jesús era su amigo. Con mi equipo hicimos una caminata de Josue orando y intercediendo por esta ciudad.

Brasov

Tercera ciudad de ATL. Tuve mi tiempo con Dios y me sentí refrescado y como si me quitaran un peso. Sentí que Dios revelaba muchas raíces de porque me gusta estar solo, lo cual es interesante porque en Guatemala el Señor me dio la palabra soledad para Rumania (poco sabía que era una advertencia de lo que iba a luchar en Craoiva) pero aquí en Brasov, el Señor trajo tanta luz a esa situación. En Brasov, mi equipo vio varios cumplimientos de lo que Dios nos había revelado en Guatemala. Tuvimos buenas conversaciones con personas que los dejamos pensando en su relación con Dios. Podimos orar por varias personas. Además, donde caminamos, intercedíamos y orabamos por la ciudad.

Bucharest

En camino a la capital de Rumania, conocí a una mujer de Grecia y tuve una conversación después de entregarle un versículo bíblico con una imagen de flores que la hizo sonreír. En esta ciudad, nuestro equipo se reunió para prepararse para nuestro próximo país y cambiamos de equipo (revelaré a mi equipo en el próximo blog). Mi tiempo con Whale Team Six ha llegado a su fin. Tambien los demás equipos tuvieron poderosos testimonios y historias como Dios se movio en su ATL.

Adiós Rumania

Nuestro tiempo ha llegado a su fin aquí en Rumania. Gloria a Dios por todo lo que hizo. So Albania es nuestro próximo país.
